You may use basic features of Petrolmate without creating an account. Certain features require account registration via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In through our authentication provider, Supabase.

Account Suspension and Termination: We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without cause or prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or abusive activity, extended inactivity, or any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You acknowledge that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension or termination of your account.

Fuel prices displayed on Petrolmate are sourced from official Australian and New Zealand government APIs and community-contributed data. We function solely as an aggregator and do not set, control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any fuel prices displayed.
Important: Fuel prices may change at any time between when they are reported to us and when you arrive at a station. Prices may be delayed, stale, or inaccurate. You must always verify the current price at the pump before purchasing. Petrolmate accepts no responsibility or liability for any price discrepancies, inaccurate data, or decisions made based on the information displayed.
Petrolmate provides machine learning-generated price predictions, trend analysis, and personalised insights. These are provided for general informational purposes only and:
You acknowledge and agree that you use ML predictions and insights entirely at your own risk, and Petrolmate shall have no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on such information.
The Petrolmate name, logo, website design, user interface, source code, algorithms, machine learning models, original content, and all related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Petrolmate and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
Fuel price data sourced from government APIs remains the property of the respective government agencies and is used in accordance with their applicable terms and licences.
By submitting any feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other content to Petrolmate, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content for any purpose related to the Service, without any obligation of compensation or attribution to you.
By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your account and use of the Service (such as registration confirmation, password reset, and important service announcements). These transactional communications are essential to the Service and cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.
If you opt in to receive marketing or promotional emails (such as price alerts, digest emails, and fuel insights), you may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link included in each email or through your account settings, in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petrolmate expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, completeness, and non-infringement.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may then proceed with mediation before a mutually agreed mediator in Melbourne, Victoria. Litigation shall be a last resort after mediation has been attempted in good faith.
